Wignall's animal hospital is one of the largest veterinary clinics in New England with a 50,000 plus clients base and state of the art facilities.
Although the facility was less than ten years old it showed significant signs of wear from daily use with chipped and scratched walls.
The challenge for Phoenix Refinishing was to refinish all of the facilities exam rooms and lobby walls to be durable for the unique abuse that only an animal hospital would endure.
Phoenix Refinishing was able to refinish the walls and trim in the facility to a beautiful multi stone finish with a protective clear coat.
Wignall's animal hospital staff has been speaking our praise and as a result we have been contracted to refinish similar facilities.
Dr Bruce Fieldman DDS
Auburn Massachusetts
Dr. Bruce Fieldman DDS is a dental practice in central Massachusetts that caters to children. From years of use the custom laminate counters in both the exam rooms as well as the cashiers station were badly damaged. The dental practice was looking at significant expense and a large amount of down time while their facility was rebuilt.
Phoenix Refinishing was able to provide the dental office staff with 12"x12" square samples of counter top material that was refinished with a multi stone surface and protective clear coat. The results after field testing on the samples using the bonding agents and cleaners that had damaged the original countertops were so impressive that Phoenix Refinishing was contracted to resurface every work station in the facility.
The wheel house is a well known restaurant and popular night club in Narragansett Rhode Island. The challenge in the restaurant were really three fold. The restaurant is multi leveled with the dining area and bar on the second level accessible only from the outdoors. The building is only feet from Narragansett bay and as a result the exterior stairs were very slippery. the restaurant also has a very large commercial kitchen with a tile floor throughout that would become slick from everyday use. Several of the restaurants wait staff had fallen and were injured on the slick floor.
The night club portion of the building host's live bands and has a built-in wooden stage. They had had incidents were beverages were spilled onstage and several of the bands had members that fell as a result.
Phoenix Refinishing was able to provide a non slip surface in walking paths throughout the kitchen area that adhered to the tile and was a complimentary color. On the exterior of the building Phoenix Refinishing was able to put the same surface that protected the kitchen floor on the exterior decking and stairs and was able to provide a complimentary color that matched well with the ocean air aged wood of the restaurant. In the night club area Phoenix Refinishing was able to resurface the stage with an anti-slip coating that was black to match the stage keeping the many local bands safe from falling injuries.
 
The town of Uxbridge Massachusetts fire department is a full time professional fire department that works out of a fire station that was built in the early 1920's.The station house floor is cement and from years of use was very worn. The challenge for Phoenix Refinishing was to repair and refinish the firehouse apparatus floor with an anti slip coating that was both durable enough to handle the constant abuse of the very heavy fire apparatus and be attractive to the general public. This was accomplished by first power washing the old surface and then repairing the damaged concrete. The new floor was applied using a rubberized coating called Grizzly Grip and then safety stripes to applied to aide the firefighters when backing in the apparatus into the building. The finished product is not only an attractive revitalized fire station but a safer working environment for the town's professional firefighters.
      
The Framingham Country Club is a golf course located in Framingham, Massachusetts about thirty-five minutes west of Boston Massachusetts off the Massachusetts Turnpike . It is an elite, private , golf course which has a waiting list to be a member . There is also an extensive waiting list to be a caddy . It is one of two golf courses in Framingham.
The challenge for Phoenix Refinishing was to renovate an outdated bar. The Framingham Country Club has thousands of guests a year and books many social events, they were looking for a surface that was both durable and stylish.
Phoenix Refinishing met and exceeded their goals by resurfacing the old laminated bar using a muti-stone finish followed by a high solid clear coat. The new bar surface is now both durable and beautiful.
